How does your sizing work?

Coconut Ave swimwear can run from XS-3XL and fits true to size unless otherwise stated.

What type of fit and coverage does your swim have?

Our swim is double-lined with “seamless” detailing where possible. We pride ourselves on flattering, feminine, and secure fits. Our swim bottoms vary from very cheeky to moderate coverage and we sell a range of tops for different body types and activities.

How do I care for Coconut Ave Swim?

Rinse Coconut Ave swim immediately after use to reduce fading and wear on material. For laundering, we recommend hand washing your swim with minimal mild detergent and cold water. Gently rinse thoroughly and lay flat to dry. Keep out of the sun when not in use. Use a towel or pareo when sitting to avoid snags.

How do I care for Coconut Ave clothing?

Wash Coconut Ave clothing cold by hand or on a gentle cycle with minimal mild detergent and gently rinse thoroughly and hang dry. Do not tumble dry. Steam before wear to reshape fabric and drape.

The Boutiques

Where are your stores located?

All of our Coconut Ave beach lifestyle boutiques are located across the Hawaiian Islands, on Hawai'i Island, Oahu, and seasonally, Maui. Our first location, at the Waikoloa Queens’ Marketplace opened in 2022. We then opened our Hometown location at Hilo on the Bayfront in 2023. The following year, we took our big leap to Oahu in November 2024, opening our third location at Ala Moana Center in Honolulu. In addition to our permanent locations, we’re currently popped-up at our first seasonal Maui storefront at the Shops at Wailea. Do boutiques carry the same inventory as online?

Coconut Ave boutiques carry our line of premium Hawai’i-designed swim and clothing, local and national clothing and accessory brands, and a range of beach & island lifestyle products. While Coconut Ave boutiques always sell Coconut Ave products and selection of other items on our website, not all products sold in our boutiques are available online.

Can I place an order in-store for something sold out?

If an item is sold out, feel free to contact any local boutique to inquire about remaining stock that may not appear online. You may also reach out to aloha@coconutave.com for any customer service or product inquiries.

Can I place a phone order or put items on hold?

Yes. You may call any Coconut Ave boutique to place a phone order or place an item on hold with our sales staff. You may also place in-store pick-up and shipped orders over the phone. Exclusions for items held on limited edition collections or items may apply. Items are held for up to 24 hours with possible extensions at the customers request.

Gift Cards & Gifting

Do you carry physical or digital gift cards?

Both! We offer physical Coconut Ave gift cards at all of our boutique locations as well as digital Coconut Ave gift cards. You may also purchase Coconut Ave digital gift cards on our website and email them directly to the recipient.

Where can I use Coconut Ave gift cards?

Coconut Ave gift cards, both physical and digital, can be used at any Coconut Ave boutique or on our website, coconutave.com.

Do Coconut Ave Gift Cards expire?

No, our gift cards do not expire. We recommend saving a digital copy of your physical gift cards and linking them to your Coconut Ave customer account for safe-keeping.

Can I use a gift card during a promotion or on discounted items?

Yes, you can use Coconut Ave gift cards, both physical and digital on any item in our boutiques or online store regardless of promotions or discounts.

What happens if my gift card is lost?

While we cannot guarantee replacement gift cards, if given date, time, location of the gift card transaction, we can try our best to track down original gift card information and serial number in order to reissue your gift card. We can also assist you with linking your gift card(s) to your customer account to future safe-keeping.

Sales, Promotions & Pricing

Can promo codes be combined?

No, Coconut Ave promotional codes cannot be combined.

Do promo codes work on sale items?

Unless otherwise indicated by promotion terms, Coconut Ave promotional codes cannot be used on sale items.

What if there is a price adjustment on an item I've previously purchased?

Am I allowed to return or exchange final sale items?

No, we do not accept returns or exchanges for final sale items, which applies to all marked-down products.

Can in-store and online promotions be used interchangeably?

Unless otherwise indicated by promotion terms, online promotions cannot be used in stores.

Loyalty & Rewards (Coco Rewards)

How does Coco Rewards work?

Coco Rewards is Coconut Ave's loyalty program that allows you to earn points every time you shop with us online or in-store. You can use these points to get discounts on future purchases or exchange them for free gifts! Simply create an account on coconutave.com (via popup form or form in the footer of our Homepage) or sign up at any Coconut Ave boutique with a member of our sales staff. Once you're registered, you’re automatically enrolled in the loyalty program.

How do I earn points?

Once registered, you’ll earn one (1) point for every dollar you spend at Coconut Ave, both online and in-store. Points are automatically added to your account after each purchase. You may also complete bonus missions listed on the Coco Rewards page to earn additional points.

How do I redeem my points?

You may redeem your Coco Rewards points for discounts at checkout or choose from a selection of free gifts. To redeem points online: Log into your account, and your available points will appear at checkout, when you select your reward, a code will be emailed to you. To redeem points in-store: Let the cashier know you want to use your points, and they’ll apply them to your purchase.

Do points expire?

No, points do not expire if they are not used.

What if I'm having issues with my rewards account?

Collaborations & Limited Edition Collections

How do I know if a limited edition item is available?

We typically update website stock every 1-2 weeks. If an item is listed for sale we likely have it in stock unless there is an error in inventory. You may also reach out to any Coconut Ave boutique and kindly inquire with a member of our sales staff about product availability.

Do you restock limited edition items?

We typically do not restock limited edition Coconut Ave items. However, in the event that we do, we will announce online availability via email and social channels.

Are your collaborations excluded from promotions and discounts?

Promotion and discount exclusions on Cocconut Ave collaborations do not apply unless otherwise stated.

Why do some pieces sell out faster than others?

We value small-batch manufacturing. We carry a limited stock of pieces in special collaborations. High in-demand items will typically sell out faster than some other pieces of the collection.

Do you take pre-orders on limited edition collections & collaborations?

At this time, we do not take pre-oders on limited edition collections and collaborations.

Sustainability & Materials

What type of sustainable fabrics does Coconut Ave use?

Coconut Ave clothing is designed in pure and blended fabrications of linen, cotton, rayon, and viscose. Coconut Ave swim is made with recycled nylon and uses natural dyes.

Where are Coconut Ave products made?

Coconut Ave is designed in Hawai’i by to Hawai’i Island locals. Coconut Ave clothing and swim are ethically crafted in Bali, Indonesia.

Is Coconut Ave clothing and swim produced ethically?

Yes, by manufacturing our clothing with talented artisans in clean and well-managed facilities, we have high visibility in the ethics of our supply chain. We also use natural dyes where possible, resulting in a less toxic manufacturing process.

How does Coconut Ave incorporate sustainablity into their packaging?

We use compostable materials in our hang-tags and shipping packaging.

How can I sustain the quality of my Coconut Ave pieces to extend wear?

We recommend following the respective care instructions for your Coconut Ave pieces. Proper laundering, storage, and steaming before wear can also extend the life of your Coconut Ave piece(s).

If you don’t see your order confirmed when placing an online order, first check your “Promotions” and “Spam” folders.
